SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNT OFFICER

Money In Motion Canada’s premier equipment lease broker providing creative financing solutions to industrial markets, seeks a talented financial professional to become a key member of a dynamic management team.  Building on years of success, the organization is about to embark on a major growth phase that requires the skills of an experienced sales generator, a senior corporate account officer.

The Role

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

To excel and succeed in this role, you will be required to:

  • Develop new business with clients and vendors across the GTA region
  • Maintain existing relationships with dealers, customers and associates alike
  • Meet and over achieve exceeding sales budgets and goals
  • Understanding & recognizing quality accounts and business opportunities
  • Understand and prepare credit packages for adjudication and approval process

 

Will report directly to the Business Development Manager.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of financial leasing experience with capital equipment such as heavy equipment in the oil and gas, forestry, mining, construction, transportation and/or other heavy industrial sectors
  • A college or university degree in business administration, marketing or economics
  • Must possess excellent English written and oral communication skills; bilingualism would be considered an asset
  • Negotiating experience with all types of companies and consumers would be a definite asset
  • Strong organizational skills are a must
  • Goal oriented, excellent social skills, high achiever, and a natural self-starter
  • Exceptional experience with MS and other software programs
  • Clean driving abstract (verified annually), valid driver’s license, own transportation and proof of insurance

Inside Sales

The Role

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote financial services with new and existing clients.
  • Solicit new and used equipment leasing leads
  • Explain the product or service to existing and new potential customers
  • Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer
  • Provide pricing details
  • Handle customer questions
  • Obtain customer information including names and addresses when required.
  • Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered in CRM
  • Refer lead activity to field sales representatives
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Conduct customer and marketing surveys
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
  • Maintain regular contact/ f/u with customers as required

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience in a sales role.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point, overall good knowledge of computer applications and programs
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate both written and verbal in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong telephone communication, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Interest and knowledge of the equipment leasing industry would be an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as outstanding client and customer relations skills.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Bilingual (French/English) is preferred
  • A vehicle and a valid Canadian driver’s license.
